Did you read that right? Siri has finally been cracked, and i don’t mean just being ported to one device. Siri can
be ported to any device not only the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (only Apple products) it can be
installed on any device even Android. Yes folks, even Android!
The mobile application developers over at
Applidium managed to infiltrate the security around Siri and got Siri installed on other
devices. They used an HTTP
protocol to crack the security of Siri and some other complex stuff which most of you, who are not software guys, won’t be able to understand.
The good news is that unlike other developers who did not show how they managed to install Siri on other devices like an
iPhone 4, these mobile application developers released a how-to guide for those folks who want Siri on their iPhone, iPad or which ever device you want to port to.

As the developers have managed to crack Siri, anyone can install Siri on an Android device. Not just install it but can even create apps that use Siri. |
Today, we managed to crack open Siri’s protocol. As a result, we are able to use Siri’s recognition engine from any device. Yes, that means anyone could now write an Android app that uses the real Siri! Or use Siri on an iPad! And we’re goign to share this know-how with you.
When something seems to good to be true it sometimes is. So likewise folks this guide on installing Siri on iPhone 4/iPhone 3GS, or even an Android will require you to know some programming languages.
Here’s a collection of tools we wrote to help us understand theprotocol. They’re written mostly in Ruby (because that’s awonderfully simple language), some parts are in C and some in Objective-C. Those aren’t really finished, but should be very sufficient for anyone technically inclined to write a Siri-enabled application.
Not only that. As this method requires you to have unique identifier of an iPhone 4S to use as a
calling card, Apple can easily find out if you are porting Siri to other devices. That is not wrong, you can legally do install Siri for other devices, but the major downside is you can’t distribute it. Yes folks as other
developers have already mentioned that you can’t port it to other devices without being sued by Apple.
As nobody is going to distribute Siri, you will have to install it all by your self.
Should have taken that computer class right?
